Stay at the "Rustic Mountain Lodge" and enjoy a peaceful mountain view and wholesome country atmosphere with lots of western hospitality, horseback riding, pack trips, fishing, hiking, rock hounding and fully guided tours. By reservation only.

B&B guests also have the option of fishing a PRIVATE LAKE nearby. A fee per pole will be charged. CATCH and RELEASE requested, and the use of barb-less hooks required. However, one trophy or two pan-sized eating fish per pole may be kept. Wyoming fishing license required.

Mountain bike & four-wheeling trails are also available as well as winter activities including cross-country skiing, snowmobile tours, and photo shoots.

 The Cabin

You will be located about 16 miles southeast of Encampment, WY on highway 230. The "cabin" is 2 miles off the oil on a dirt and partially graveled road that can be traveled with your car. It is tucked behind a hill overlooking the streams of Bear Creek and BIG CREEK, giving you solitude, peace and quiet. BIG CREEK is by some standards a small river as it winds down through its canyon.

These streams and ponds (stocked) are within 150 yards of the "cabin". BIG CREEK is a "super fly fishing" stream, especially after July 1st. It is 50-100 feet wide, and requires wading to fish it properly. Water depth runs 1-3 feet most places and it has a rock and gravel bottom. Most fish are Browns, Rainbow and a few Brook Trout plus you have access to over 3 miles of stream. In all you have use of :

You will also enjoy seeing deer, antelope, waterfowl and many other kinds of wildlife in the area.  Due to the location, you can do an unlimited amount of target shooting or varmint shooting.  A per gun fee will be charged on leased properties.

The "cabin" is modern (about 24 years old), 1,000 sq. ft., 2 bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed, living area with a couch that folds out to a bed, a fully equipped kitchen with a counter that opens to the living area, a bathroom and porch. Cabin is fully furnished with all electric appliances. A beautiful stone fireplace in the living room. All towels and linens are furnished. There's no phone or TV. Housekeeping and meals are your responsibility.

This will be available by the week from May- through October, and must be booked in advance!  The maximum is 3 men or two couples or a family of six.  There will be an extra charge for more folks!
